Ended my use of Twitter, though left my private account in place. Now, I'm ceasing activity here, at least for the foreseeable future.
-
So… All I have left are Twitter, SN, and Flickr. It's actually taking some self-control to not drop the former two.
-
So, getting rid of your Google profile (to get rid of G+) can now nuke your YouTube channel entirely… I'm DAMN glad I got rid of my profile now.
-
@bavatar More like I'm essentially withdrawing from the web. The social aspect, anyway.
-
And finished getting rid of two more sites I'll likely never use again. Well… I nuked the bios and just left the content, but that's all I really needed to do. That leaves 3 social sites, 1 photo site, and my blogs (which are likely falling next).

@toksyuryel *hugs you*

Here I am, trying to figure out a career or something that isn't writing... and possibly something that isn't in the tech industry. The latter is up in the air.
-
Often wonder why I even bother posting my works on the larger art sites. I just jack worth of readership. Might as well just post such things to a blog or something.

My iPhone 3GS could handle an SMS history of 20K+ messages without problems. If a single convo goes above 1K on my Samsung Captivate, problems start. Why? Because Android takes the stupid path to display a thread: load EVERYTHING. iOS only loads the last few until asked to display more. Bad design choices there, Android team.
-
@coyo I've been pretty good. How have you been?
-
Hello, hon.
-
Seems Twitter is breaking on me again. Not a big surprise as of late.
-
Dammit, I should totally make that ponasona I had in my uead a while back. Also, Markdown rocks.
-
Apple TV supports Netflix. Netflix has Power Rangers and MLP:FiM among others. This is relevant to my interests. >w>
-
AppleTV get. No more cable in my office. Before you ask "Why not Roku/Boxee/et al.?", I'll just answer it: Ease of use, and the fact that I KNOW it'll work for what I need.

Future of Free Applications http://wp.me/p1UPHz-8B (Bit of an opinion piece)
-
And now people are starting to understand why I complain about being unable to keep up with and stand all the drama on Twitter. XD

"Is that because Google has a reputation for putting out half-baked products that brick and get into boot loops two weeks later?" - Gina Trapani, "This Week in Google" Episode 141 | Totally made the episode worth listening to.
-
I don't know which is more annoying: Firefox and their quick-versioning scheme, or IE and their lack of a real versioning scheme.

A IRL friend showed this to me, and I definitely feel I should share it. "How Google Screwed a Startup" http://blog.hatchlings.com/post/20171171127/dont-be-evil-how-google-screwed-a-startup
